That closing umbrella shape results in less air flow to the center of that entire hemp plant.

1. HOW DOES BOVEDA WORK?
Much like a thermostat, Boveda dials-in and maintains the ideal RH level in for cannabis containers—between 58% and 62% RH.
Creating a terpene shield is only possible when you use a product that can quickly achieve the right environment (specifically, the right relative humidity) where this shield can form. Then precisely maintain that environment to keep the shield intact.

Unprotected flower in cannabis storage containers starts to degrade immediately. To stop this degradation and save terpenes and other cannabinoids, you must keep the relative humidity level (RH) in cannabis containers at the ideal level for cannabis.
HERE’S HOW:
A salt-based solution is sealed in Boveda’s patented vapor phase osmosis membrane. As needed, Boveda releases and absorbs pure water vapor into herbal medicine to shield trichomes in protective water molecules.
Those water molecules released by Boveda create a powerful terpene shield that prevents evaporation and preserves terpenes, cannabinoids and THC.

We break off the individual branches from the hemp plant and hang branches on the drying wire, not whole plants. This step is more labor intensive but will help minimize mold and mildew and provide beautiful Terpenes in the Plant.
